Biography

Dr. Nasser is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Research and Leadership at The George Washington University. She was previously employed as a Physician Assistant at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center where she managed the care of patients in the Hypertension and Vascular Disease Clinic, while concurrently working in the field of clinical research. Her clinical research roles were as Assistant Medical Director in the Center for Urban and African American Health, and Sub-Investigator/Co-Investigator on several clinical research and pharmaceutical trials in the Division of Translational Research and Clinical Epidemiology in the Department of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Nasser has co-authored numerous journal articles and several book chapters focusing on cardiovascular disease/hypertension and ethnic disparities.
