FAQ
Students
-
Q: I submitted my student application, where is my password?
A: Students should receive an email after completing their application, containing their password. This email should also indicate that the account is only in a limited-access mode, and only the project information is available. Once the account has gone through verification, the student should receive another email, indicating that their accounts access restrictions have been lifted.
-
Q: I forgot my password, what should I do?!
A: Click 'Forgot your password?' at the login prompt, or click here
-
Q: My student record says I have not completed the required training. I have taken the required CITI training and turned in my certificate to Student Records. I also took the Practicum Training. What should I do?
A: You should call Student Records to find out what the problem is. If necessary, provide another copy of your CITI certificate.
Contact your Practicum Director if you need further assistance.
-
Q: I need to make changes in my Plan but the system won't let me. What should I do?
A: Notify your Practicum Director, who can unlock the Plan to allow you to make the changes. The Plan will stay unlocked for 3 days before automatically relocking.

A: You will need to contact your preceptor to go in and sign again (click on the signature line) and click "submit" at the bottom of the page to make sure the signature is entered.
-
Q: I know that I added the required signature, but it doesn't appear now. What should I do?
A: You must click on the "submit" button at the end of the document for the information to be saved. If that does not work, email the webmaster by clicking on the "submit a bug" link or mccmweb@gwumc.edu

Q: I have begun work on my practicum but the system will not allow me to log hours. What is the problem?
A: Check your Student Profile to make sure the following have been done:
1) Your Plan has been signed by your Practicum Director and your Preceptor. If not, contact the appropriate person to add the signature.
2) You are registered for the Practicum Course (a green check is showing beside "Registration"). If there is a red X instead, make sure you have submitted your RTF to Student Records. If you have submitted it, contact Student Records to determine the problem.
