Job Description / Key Responsibilities
Perform statistical analysis / programming on pharmacogenetic and clinical
projects in collaboration with the team of statistical geneticists, statisticians, and
statistical analysts at BioStat Solutions, Inc.
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with the team of statistical geneticists, statisticians, and
statistical analysts
• Provide programming support on a wide range of statistical projects that
may include: mixed modeling, general linear modeling, logistic regression,
variance components, repeated measures, etc
• Recommend and implement appropriate statistical methodology
• Conduct peer-review quality assurance / quality control on programs and
work products from colleagues
• Maintain proficiency with respect to SAS programming and statistical
methodology
• Responsible for assisting in the communication of study results via
regulatory submissions, and manuscripts, as well as for communicating
one-on-one with key customers.
• Assist or respond to regulatory queries working in collaboration with other
statistical colleagues.
• Ensure validation and replication of tools and systems, where applicable
and stay informed of technological advances.
Minimum requirements:
• M.S. in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field
• Strong working knowledge of statistics and statistical software and SAS.
• Ability to adapt and interact in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must read, write and speak fluent English
• Understand relevant disease states in order to enhance the level of
customer focus and collaboration.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the
