Position Description
Integrity Management Services, LLC, a leading health care consulting firm in the Washington D.C. area is seeking an entry-level Auditor to conduct audits and reviews to determine compliance with government statutes, federal regulations and policies related to the oversight of the Medicare and/or Medicaid programs, in particular, those related to Program Integrity. The Auditor will apply professional auditing knowledge and skills, using as guidelines generally accepted government auditing standards (GAGAS) issued by the U. S. General Accountability Office to help plan, organize, conduct and report on assigned audits and reviews; including audit objectives, scope, methodology, field work, analysis, findings, conclusions and recommendations. Some travel may be required. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess an undergraduate degree and have relevant experience auditing and/or reviewing health care organizations or programs. Knowledge of Medicare or Medicaid is preferred. Enthusiastic individuals who can work effectively in both a team and independent settings are a must! Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to facilitate audits and provide useful reports.
All candidates MUST pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment. Local candidates preferred.
