Cultural diversity, multiple colleges/universities, proximity to New York, Philadelphia, Delaware, and New Jersey

My message to applicants:

GWU is definitely a leader in the field of Public Health! The school has a genuine interest in students' academic well-being, and its location in the heart of key decision makers has been very valuable. One of the best features offered at GWU is the opportunity to hear numerous guests speakers who are leaders in their field. Grand Rounds also offers great lecturers, from great organizations (i.e.: Julie Gerberding from the CDC). Students are very diverse and friendly. Fun activities are always being held by different student organizations.
