Mouse melanoma model
Brief Project Description
The Photobiology Group has developed a model for melanoma in mice that is biologically similar to human melanoma. This mouse model is allowing detailed genetic studies, and studies of mechanism, treatment and chemoprevention to move forward for the first time. Drs. Noonan and De Fabo won the GWMUC Snyder Award in cancer research for 2004-5.
