Evaluation and Support Center: Outreach, Care, and Prevention to Engage HIV Seropositive Young MSM of Color

Brief Project Description

Sponsor: HSRA HIV/AIDS Bureau; Special Projects of National Significance
Project Director/Co-investigator: Manya Magnus, PhD, MPH
The objective of this project is to identify interventions that are most effective in assisting YCMSM to access and remain in care. As the Evaluation and Support Center, we will work with sites to ensure their technical capacity in administering their unique demonstration projects and conducting local evaluations; we will also conduct a comprehensive cross-site evaluation. Through the integration of quantitative and qualitative techniques, we will identify program- and client-level characteristics that act as barriers to or facilitators of entry and retention in care. The Center will collaborate with individual sites to optimize their local evaluations and provide them with ongoing support to assist them in site and cross-site evaluations.
