Epidemiology of Dementia in Older Japanese Americans (The Kame Project)

A prospective cohort study to estimate the prevalence and incidence of dementia and its subtypes in older Japanese Americans, to compare these estimates with estimates from standardized studies in Honolulu, Hawaii and Japan, and to examine risk factors for cognitive decline, dementia, and other aging-related conditions.
