HIV Disease Management: Current status, progress, and remaining challenges

Co-sponsored by The George Washington University HIV/AIDS Institute and The Department of Prevention and Community Health, a CME seminar titled, "HIV Disease Management: Current status, progress and remaining challenges," was held on Wednesday, January 21, 2009.

Dr. Paul Volberding, Professor and Vice Chair at the Department of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco and Chief of Medical Service at the SF Veterans Affairs Medical Center, talked about HIV disease management with a focus on the current status of disease management, areas for progress and remaining challenges that need to be addressed. A panel of local experts then discussed their experiences with HIV disease management.
