the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington DC
I am an academic clinician who cares for patients with a variety of medical conditions and those with infectious complications. I am board
certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases; my primary clinical responsibility is the care of patients at the Veterans Affairs
Medical Center in Washington DC. I serve as a clinician-educator and mentor to medical students, Internal Medicine Residents and Infectious
Diseases Fellows in the inpatient and outpatient setting. My research interests include the metabolic complications of HIV/AIDS and the
immunmodulatory role of statins in Infectious Diseases. I hold academic appointments in GWU Department of Medicine and the GWU Department of
Microbiology, Immunology and Tropical Medicine.
