  • Clinic Director for the HIV-Infectious Diseases Clinic at the VAMC in Washington DC where HIV and primary care is provided for approximately 850 patients with HIV infection.

  • Principal Investigator, Tuberculosis Trials Consortium: Protocol Co-chair for Treatment of HIV–related Tuberculosis Study and Protocol Chair and Pharmacokinetic Working Group Member for pharmacokinetic studies in HIV-related Tuberculosis
  • Principal Investigator, SILCAAT; A Phase III Multicenter Randomized study of the biological and clinical efficacy of subcutaneous recombinant human interleukin-2 in HIV-infected patients with low cd4+ counts under active antiretroviral therapy
