GW Center for Global HealthWho We AreChartered by the University in 1992 and guided by the principles of human rights and social justice, The George Washington Center for Global Health is a portal for global health activities across the university. The Center responds to the challenges and transitions that impact health, health resources and health systems with a multidisciplinary approach that integrates the economic, social, political, cultural, biological and epidemiological aspects of health, strengthening linkages between population health and social and economic development. The Center for Global Health is affiliated with the Department of Global Health at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. In addition to its collaborations with other SPHHS departments and research centers, it draws on the extensive resources of the university, collaborating with the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and with other Schools, Centers and Institutes, including:
