CHSRP Analyses on Olmstead Implementation
Listed below is a series of CHSRP's reports that explore key policy issues arising from the United States Supreme Court's decision in Olmstead v. L.C. (527 U.S. 581 (1999)). The decision held that the medically unnecessary placement of individuals with disabilities in institutional settings violates the public services portion of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
