Quarterly Lecture Series

We host a Quarterly Lecture Series on Public Health Communication and Marketing as a service to our partners and all interested parties in our community. These one hour lectures – which will be scheduled on the second Wednesday of every quarter (or the nearest appropriate alternative date) during the noon hour – will feature provocative speakers whose work is helping to define or refine the practice of public health communication and marketing.

All lectures are held on the Washington, DC campus of The George Washington University, and archived on this website.

Conversations on Social Marketing

On November 5-6, 2007, we worked with Population Services International (PSI) to co-host a two-day forum on social marketing, held at the Jack Morton Auditorium. Titled Conversations on Social Marketing, the event featured four speakers who presented on different aspects and real-world applications of social marketing. Each session was concluded with a discussion led by Craig Lefebvre, PSI’s Chief Technical Officer and an adjunct instructor in the Department of Prevention and Community Health.
