For the Authors

Required Format

• Up to 6,000 words (excluding the title page and references and abstract), although editors will consider requests to extend the word limit if necessary
• Microsoft Word document (files with ".doc" endings), double-spaced, portrait orientation, prepared with 1-inch margins in 12 pt. Times New Roman font style.
• The editors suggest that all cases contain the following information; however, any submission will be considered if it is written in a logical sequence and contributes to the advancement of practice-oriented learning in the field of public health communication and marketing:
  • Abstract of no more than 200 words
  • Introduction to/identification of the problem or opportunity addressed by the program, and a clear statement of the program's objectives
  • Important background information
  • Description of the initiative and lessons learned
  • Discussion (of how this experience may be useful in informing other public health communication and marketing initiatives)
  • Acknowledgements
  • References
• References, tables and figures should be presented in the American Medical Association style

Identifying information must be excluded from the manuscript in order to keep authorship information confidential during the peer-review process. Author's names, contact information and other identifying information will be collected via the Authorship Form.
