The George Washington University Health Services
Management and Leadership Student Association

The George Washington University Health Services Management and Leadership Student Association is a student organization that acts as a liaison between the department and students. The organization is also responsible for increasing the interaction between the student body and leading healthcare players in Washington, D.C., and its surrounding areas.

The Department of Health Services Management and Leadership (HSML)

The HSML program is a professional graduate program whose goal is to train students to become the future managers and leaders for American and international health service organizations. Students are afforded the opportunity to present themselves as professionals both in manner and in dress. Through the program, students continually keep themselves updated by reading all communications from advisors, the department chair, the student association, and the school of public health. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the many educational and professional development experiences that the HSML program offers during the year. Personal gain is derived by students that make every effort to participate in local and national professional association meetings.
