Student Resources(Not a student yet, but thinking about applying? Check out our Prospective Students page) The Department of Health Policy is dedicated to preparing our students for advanced careers in health policy through a rigorous curriculum of study, research and service. We believe that the best way to advance health policy scholarship is to teach and help build a solid theoretical foundation upon which real-world experience can be applied. What better place to match health policy theory with real-world experience than the nation's capital? Dedicated to health policy education and research, the Department is home to more than $30 million in funded research initiatives and programs. Its core and adjunct faculty include some of the nation's best known health policy experts as well as leaders from across the public and private health policy sector. The Department's training includes both stimulating classroom offerings, as well as hands-on experience with the major health policy issues of the day.
