"903.  Enrollment Limits and Member Composition
PCPS may set enrollment limits for the number of GBHC members they wish to serve.  Maximum enrollment for individual physicians is suggested to be 1200 members and 600 members for nurse practitioners.  Enrollment limits for group practices are based on the number of full time equivalent physicians multiplied by 1200 and full time equivalent nurse practitioners and physician assistants multiplied by 600.  Physicians who have traditionally managed more than 1200 Medicaid recipients and who wish to enroll more than the suggested maximum may request an exemption from this limit by submitting a written request to the Georgia Better Health Care plan office."
