Who We Are

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics has a strong commitment to educational excellence and to conducting world-class research as a foundation for the Department's vitality and growth. The Department collaborates with other Departments in the School of Public Health and Health Services and in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, with other Schools at The George Washington University, and with the broader public health community. There are currently two Research Centers in the Department that have been chartered by the University - the Center for HIV/AIDS Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Public Health Laboratory Research on the Foggy Bottom campus; and the GWU Biostatistics Center in Rockville, Maryland.
