Who We Are

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and its affiliates, the Biostatistics Center and the Biostatistics Center Medical Center Unit, share a strong commitment to educational excellence and to conducting world-class research as a foundation for the Department's vitality and growth. The Department collaborates with other Departments in the School of Public Health and Health Services and in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, with other Schools at The George Washington University, and with the broader public health community. The Biostatistics Center is prominent for its leadership role in designing, executing and analyzing multi-center clinical trials. The Biostatistics Center Medical Consulting Unit provides high-quality statistical support to faculty at The George Washington University Medical Center.
