We are well-positioned to address this mission, with 18 Department faculty at the Foggy Bottom campus... 10 faculty at the Biostatistics Center in Rockville, Maryland... 27 faculty who have secondary appointments... and 8 adjunct professors and professorial lecturers. These faculty are supported by 4 administrative staff, 2 graduate administrative assistants, 15 research staff, 17 graduate student research assistants, and 16 instructional assistants!

GRADUATE STUDENTS

DOH Community Services Assessment (CSA) and Qualitative Behavioral Assessment: One student is supporting this community assessment funded through the DC Department of Health.

DOH HIV Surveillance: Five students are working as student interviewers for surveillance activities under the supervision of Dr Castel, contributing enormously to the conduct of HIV/AIDS surveillance in the District, while being mentored in the field of HIV/AIDS.

National Health Behavior Study: When the study reengages students will be working as student interviewers for research activities under the supervision of Dr Magnus, contributing to HIV/AIDS research in the District, while being mentored in the field of HIV/AIDS.

GWU-Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Partnership for Pediatric AIDS: One student is currently supporting research efforts through this partnership.

HIV Prevention Trials Network Clinical Research Site: Two students are currently supporting this project funded through the NIH.

Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) - Information Technology Networks of Care Initiative, Demonstration Project: One student is currently supporting this project funded by the Louisiana State University Health Care Services Division
