W.T. Gill, Jr., Summer Research Fellowships

The Gill Fellowships are offered through the Office of Health Research, Compliance and Technology Transfer. Fellowships of $2,500 are awarded for a miniumum 8-week research program that provides students with selected mentors in various areas of medicine and public health. Applicants will have a number of projects and mentors to choose from, or can select a faculty preceptor on their own with approval by the Office of Health Research.

Each Spring Semester a listing of available research opportunities with GW faculty is disseminated to first and second year medical students along with an application packet. Materials are usually forwarded in December with an application deadline of early February.
