Lynn and Ruth George Scholars Program
The Lynn and Ruth George Scholars Program provides third and fourth year medical students with the opportunity to enrich and diversify their medical education, broaden their public health knowledge and deepen their commitment to services by supporting experiential learning abroad. Scholarships of up to $2,000/student will be awarded to support international clinical and non-clinical elective opportunities.
Opportunities may include working with the Peace Corps in country under the mentorship of the regional medical officers; clinical electives through a number of programs offered by the GW International Medicine Programs office as outlined in the Senior Course Catalog; or non-clinical opportunities through credible third party organizations.
