Beyond the classroom, a wealth of national and international organizations in the Washington, DC area provide our students with an array of valuable and meaningful experiences not found in a textbook or laboratory. Whether it's learning from lawmakers on Capitol Hill about health policy, doing research at NIH or working overseas to gain a global perspective on fighting disease, our students have the opportunity to enrich their educational experiences with unique hands-on training.
