Community Health Electives

IDIS 354: Community Health Care (HEALing Clinic)

Outpatient student run clinic experience at Bread for the City medical clinic. Bread for the City provides primary medical care to uninsured and low income children and adults at no charge. Students will be required to attend a minimum of twelve Tuesday evening sessions during the course of the year. In addition students will be expected to serve on a committee and/or review and update evaluation data, curriculum, training manuals or other special projects deemed necessary by the student steering committee.
Course Duration: 4 weeks
Evaluation Method: Clinical (subjective) evaluation; Special Project
