Bio:
Ms. Smith is trained as a medical technologist (clinical laboratory scientist) and coordinates teaching activities as part
of the Clinical Laboratory Science Program, the Health Laboratory Technique Program (sponsored by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army), and the Masters
of Science in Health Sciences Concentration in Immunohematology Program. She has a special interest in distance education. She is active in
many organizations focused on health sciences education, including the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
