Financial Aid Calendar

JANUARY

*Receive financial aid package.

JULY

*MSI and MSII students should check with the Financial Aid Office to determine if they have complete files by end of July.

FEBRUARY

*Send completed FAFSA to processor. (Complete your tax return for 2009 prior to completing your FAFSA.)

AUGUST

*MSI and MSII registration.

Tuition and fees due.  First disbursement of loan funds for 2010-2011 academic year.

MARCH

*Complete all required forms to the Financial Aid Office.

SEPTEMBER

*Take a break from Financial Aid.

APRIL

*April 1 – ABSOLUTE DEADLINE
to submit FAFSA for all returning students in order to be eligible for school based funds for the upcoming year.

*Explore new ways to finance your education.  Be creative and research private scholarship sources.

OCTOBER

*Begin to seek new sources of financing for next academic year.

MAY

*May 1 – ABSOLUTE DEADLINE
to submit all required forms to the Financial Aid Office for all returning students (NOT applicable for new students).

*MSIII and MSIV students should check the GWeb system to insure that their files are complete by the middle of May 2010.

NOVEMBER

*Debt burden reports are distributed to MSI and MSII students.

JULY

*MSIII and MSIV registration.

Tuition and fees due.

First disbursement of loan funds for 2010-2011 academic year.

DECEMBER

*December 15 - Last day to apply for additional financial aid for second semester.##

*Second semester disbursements for all medical students.

*Disbursements for second semester are credited to accounts in January.
