Introduction

Thank you for your interest in The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. This information is designed for all applicants and students. We encourage you to take time to read this material thoroughly. It is intended to provide you with basic information about our financial aid programs and policies. We also encourage you to share it with your families, spouses and/or significant others. The primary responsibility for funding your education lies with you and your family. However, it is understandable that the amount you and your family can contribute may not always be sufficient to meet the costs of attending medical school. That is where we feel that we can assist you.

Our system is designed to be very “user-friendly” and helpful. Our intent is to deal with you individually and to assure you that you’re not “just another number”. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service.
