Maroon 5 Concert

Program Board is pleased to announce a fall concert featuring American pop and
rock band Maroon 5. As part of their Back To School Tour, doors open at 8 p.m.,
November 13th in the Charles E. Smith Center at The George Washington
University, located at 600 22nd Street NW. Hip-hop troubadour, K'Naan will be
the special guest. A mix of polished pop, rock and neo-soul appeal made Maroon 5
one of the most popular bands of this decade. Songs such as "This Love," "She
Will Be Loved," and "Makes Me Wonder" all topped music charts worldwide and has
led the group to sell more than 10 million albums. Maroon 5 has been together
since 2002 and in 2005, the group won a Grammy for Best New Artist.  

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, September 25th at the Ticketmaster
Box Office in the Marvin Center located at 800 21st Street N.W. Student tickets
will be sold for $30 and staff, faculty and alumni will be able to purchase
tickets for $33. All tickets must purchased in person with a maximum of six
tickets with the presentation of your GWorld (GWorld+5).

Program Board is the largest student-run programming organization at GW. It is
best known for running the biggest events on campus such as Fall Fest, Fountain
