Lodging is included as part of the event registration package. Upon approval of the registration application, a reservation will be made at One Washington Circle Hotel (http://www.thecirclehotel.com/).
While the hotel is near most of our meeting spaces, please pack comfortable walking shoes. DC is known for being a walking city, and we know you will feel the energy and vibe of DC as we walk to and from each meeting location.
GETTING TO WASHINGTON, DC

There are three major airports serving the Washington, D.C. area:
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the most convenient airport to The George Washington University campus. It is only a brief ride by Metrorail train from the DCA terminal to the Foggy Bottom/George Washington University Metro station. - Dulles International Airport (IAD) is approximately 30 miles from Washington D.C. While there is no Metrorail service from Dulles, there are many ground transportation options available.

- Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is approximately 32 miles from Washington, D.C. Amtrak offers rail service between BWI and Washington, D.C.'s Union Station. In addition, there are ground transportation options available.

Rental Cars: While rental cars are available at each of the major airports, please bear in mind that parking in Washington, D.C. can be costly and limited. "The District" is easily navigated on foot or by Metrorail services.
BY RAIL
Amtrak provides regular rail service to Washington, D.C.’s historic Union Station from a number of U.S. cities. For schedule information, please visit: www.amtrak.com.
The Red line of Metrorail's subway service provides service from Union Station to Metro Center, where travelers can easily transfer to either the Blue or Orange line to reach the Foggy Bottom/GWU station.
GETTING AROUND DC
On Foot: Washington, DC is a great city for those who love to walk. The hotel accommodations are conveniently located walking distance from some of the District's "must-sees" like the White House and National Mall. Expect temperatures in mid-June to range from a low in the middle 60’s to highs in the mid 80’s.
Metro System: Washington's Metropolitan Area Transit Authority offers reliable bus and subway service throughout the greater Washington, DC area, including Ronald Reagan National Airport. The George Washington University campus is immediately accessible from the Foggy Bottom/GWU station which is served by the subway system's Blue and Orange lines.

Taxis: Taxis are readily available throughout Washington, DC. Those who have visited the city in the past should note that the area's taxis, which once operated under a "zone system" now charge on a metered basis.
