The GW NATIONAL EMERGING LEADERSHIP SUMMIT for Healthcare Administrators in Aging Services is a conference held at The George Washington University. The summit will provide an opportunity for Generation X and Generation Y leaders in the field of health and aging services administration to engage in discussions of current best practices with other leaders, meet with representatives of key professional organizations, gain an inside perspective on the legislative process, and explore solutions for attracting and retaining other Generation X and Y leaders. The Summit will combine current best thinking and a facilitated dialogue to provide a new perspective for both the participating individual and the broader field.
Suggested Audience: The summit is targeted toward Healthcare Administrators in Aging Services who have typically been in the field for under ten years and/or are under forty years of age. These Generation X and Generation Y leaders hold positions in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities, and rehabilitation hospitals.
Summit Participants Will:
- Identify, develop, and refine solutions for the next generation of leaders building on themes from the previous year's emerging leaders
- Meet with representatives of key professional organizations and gain an inside perspective on the legislative process
- Engage in discussions with other leaders in the field of health and aging services administration to advance an agenda of action
