Enable/Block Junk Mail Options

Select Actions on the toolbar at the top of the Groupwise screen. Next choose JunkMail, and then Junk Mail Handling. On the Settings panel, check the boxes to Enable Junk List and Enable Block List. Then click on Apply.

  • After enabling, you can add internet senders/domains to your Junk, Block, or Trust Lists. Junk Mail filtering does not work on internal addresses (other Groupwise accounts).

  • One right click of your mouse with the pointer over the “From” section of the message line (the name of the person who sent it) will open a menu of choices.

  • Select Junk Mail. You will be given several options which can be applied to this sender/domain (your choice – check the appropriate box). They are:
    • Trust Sender. All messages from this sender/domain are delivered to your inbox.
    • Junk Sender. All messages from this sender/domain are diverted to the junk mail folder. Use the Junk Mail Handling option to determine how often to automatically delete the junk mail messages, or manually delete them at your leisure.
    • Block Sender. All incoming mail from this sender/domain is blocked
