Configure Groupwise to find the archive folder
- While in your GroupWise mailbox, select the Tools drop-down menu (on the list of choices across the top of the page directly beneath “Novell GroupWise – Mailbox”).
- Select Options.
- Double click on Environment
- Chose the File Location tab (see illustration below).

- In the first blank space (Archive directory) type: F:\GroupWise Archive\, (exactly as above) and then click OK.
- You will receive an error message informing you that C:\Novell/GroupWise/gwstr68m does not exist and asking if you want to create this directory. Very Important: Answer NO. You do not need to create a cache mailbox directory. Doing so will create problems with your GroupWise account.

- After clicking No, you will be returned to the options menu. Choose Close. Your GroupWise account is now configured to archive the messages you select to a permanent, secure location (your F:\ drive).
