Hours
The Bloedorn Technology Center (BTC) supports and supplements the curricula of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the School of Public Health and Health Services.
Regular audiovisual materials are located at the BTC and can be located by searching the Library's online catalog. These materials are checked out at the Circulation Desk on the First Floor.
NOTE: Headphones and external zip drives are checked out at the Bloedorn Technology Center Help Desk. Headphones may also be checked out at the Circulation Desk on the First Floor.
A data technician is on duty for computer assistance and consultation Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 noon - Midnight and Friday through Saturday from 12:00 noon - 8pm.
Computer Resources
The Microcomputer Lab and Women's Board Teaching Center are located in the Bloedorn Technology Center. Their computers provide access to the MS Office Suite, the internet, and to Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) software that offers instruction in Medical, Health Sciences, and Public Health topics.
Two public printers are available at the BTC. The cost to print is $0.07 per page, or per side for double-sided printing. Additional printing tips and instructions can be found on the Himmelfarb Printing and Copying web page.
Several flatbed scanners are also available for GWUMC faculty, students and staff to use.
Collection
The Bloedorn Technology Center houses more than 1000 titles in the basic sciences and clinical medicine. Materials include those purchased from commercial or academic sources as well as many produced by the GWU Medical Center. Representative titles include:

- Board Review - Gold Standard Boards Preparation
- Physical Examination - Barbara Bates Visual Guide to Physical Examination
Audio Digest CDs in emergency medicine, gastroenterology, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychiatry, and surgery are also available.
