GWorld Information
Library users must have a GWorld or Courtesy Card in order to print or photocopy at Himmelfarb Library.
Courtesy Cards
If you do not have a GWorld Card, or did not bring it with you, you may purchase a courtesy card to print or photocopy your documents. The Value Transfer Station (VTS) located on the 1st floor by the stairwell dispenses courtesy zero-value cards for $1.
Adding Money to Your Card
There are three ways to add money to your GWorld or Courtesy Card to pay for printing and copying:
- With cash, using a Value Transfer Station (VTS). There is a VTS machine located at Himmelfarb against the wall between the copy area and the 1st floor stairwell. There are also VTS machines in the Gelman Library, the Marvin Center, and the Jacob Burns Law Library. These machines only take bills and do not give change.
- Online at the GWorld website.
- In person with cash, check, or credit card at the GWorld office. The GWorld office is located in the Marvin Center (800 21st Street, NW) in Room 501. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 6pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, and Saturday /Sunday, 10am - 2pm.
