Requesting Documents in Off-Site Storage

Some of Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library's journal holdings are being held at a storage facility shared by the Washington Regional Library Consortium. Items were selected to be moved off-site if they were published prior to 1980 or if they had little recent usage. Also held off-site are a number of journals to which the Library no longer subscribes. Please consult Himmelfarb Library's online catalog to determine if a journal is held off-site, or contact the Reference Desk staff at (202) 994-2850.

Photocopies of articles in off-site storage may be requested at no charge by George Washington University affiliates.

Additionally, faculty, students and staff of WRLC Consortium Institutions may also request items free of charge if they are stored off-site. All consortium members and non-Medical Center GWU affiliates should submit their requests through their primary library in order to obtain copies at no cost.

For non-affiliates, items can be requested for a fee.
