MDConsult Mobile

MDConsult has created a version of its website which is customized for the smaller screen used by mobile devices including smartphones (e.g. Blackberry, iPhone, etc.). This new access point allows GWUMC faculty, residents, and students to access the high-quality MDConsult content directly from their mobile device for clinical reference, research, or review. MDConsult Mobile also includes 'Recommended Results' topic reviews which quickly connect you to high-quality content on the topics most frequently searched in MDConsult.

MDConsult Mobile provides access to the following MDConsult content areas:

• E-Texts - full-text access to more than 50 textbooks including Cecil Medicine and specialty textbooks.
• E-Journals - full-text access to more than 50 journals plus the complete MEDLINE.
• Clinics - full-text access to 'Clinics' series which provide clinical topic reviews in more than 30 specialties.
• Guidelines - full-text clinical practice guidelines plus links to additional guidelines available on association and government websites.
• Images - full-size images.

To access MDConsult Mobile, you will need a personal MDConsult login/password. You can obtain a personal MDConsult login/password by accessing MDConsult via your desktop computer then selecting Create Account in the upper right area of the screen.

After you have a personal MDConsult account, you can access MDConsult Mobile from your mobile device by going to www.mdconsult.com and using your personal MDConsult login/password.
