Consortium Loan Service

Himmelfarb Library now participates in the Consortium Loan Service (CLS) which provides access to other libraries in the Washington Research Library Consortium. Through the CLS service, GWUMC affiliates can borrow materials from other GWU libraries, as well as from libraries at other area universities including American, Georgetown, Gallaudet, George Mason and Marymount Universities, and the University of the District of Columbia.

To use CLS, you should register your email address in ALADIN by accessing myALADIN and updating or adding your preferred email address in the upper right portion of screen.  You can then request books or journal articles by locating items in the ALADIN Catalog, and then clicking on 'Request through Consortium Loan Services'™. Materials must be picked up and dropped off at the Gelman Library Circulation Desk.
