Clincial Evidence
Clinical Evidence is now available on a new interface and can be accessed on its own website at www.clinicalevidence.com The new interface offers better access to the information, making it easier to assess therapies and move between brief and detailed information. Additionally, Himmelfarb Library's new site license for Clinical Evidence permits unlimited use and unlimited users, so this information tool will always be available for use.

Clinical Evidence continues to harness evidence-based medicine with the goal of providing the "best available evidence from systematic reviews, RCTs, and observational studies where appropriate" as well as noting where no good evidence exists. Clinical Evidence offers systematic reviews, focusing on conditions commonly seen in patient care. Clinical Evidence analyzes the evidence related to treatment decisions, and organizes possible treatments on a scale from 'Beneficial' to 'Likely to be Ineffective or Harmful.' The evidence that supports those ratings is briefly described, and fully linked so you can consult the original sources if needed. Each review is also available in a printable format and as a PDF.
Clinical Evidence also offers Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) tools and training modules. This includes statistical methods such as for calculating risk and adjusting for baseline risk; an EBM glossary and common abbreviations; interactive EBM training modules (free registration required); and links to various EBM resources.
