Library Access Policy

Beginning on February 28, Himmelfarb Library closed to the public. This closure is for an indefinite period of time and affects all individuals who are not affiliated with GWU, and includes patrons affiliated with WRLC libraries. Himmelfarb Library remains open to GWUMC faculty, staff, and student during all regular hours, as well as to the wider GWU community from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any changes to Himmelfarb Library's access policies will be posted immediately on our website.

Individuals who cannot access Himmelfarb Library may want to explore the freely available medical information resources which are listed in Himmelfarb Library's Internet Resources database (http://www.gwumc.edu/library/eresources/inetres.cfm), and may wish to contact explore other DC-area libraries (http://www.gwumc.edu/library/otherlibs.cfm).
