Director's Desk
Himmelfarb Dedicates Serigraph
The School of Medicine Class of 2000 wanted to commemorate
this momentous graduation year with a commissioned art work
to be hung in the Himmelfarb Library. On Tuesday, April 30,
2002, the specially-commissioned serigraph entitled, "GW
Medicine at the Millenium," was dedicated by Shelley
Bader, EdD, and Drs. John Williams, VPHA, and Danielle Doberman,
Class of 2000. Created by local artist, James Craig English,
the serigraph features the high touch/high tech way medicine
is taught today at GW through a series of local scenes. Posters
of the serigraph are available at the Circulation Desk for
$15.
