You can learn about changing health behavior by consulting Dr. Mark Edberg's new book Essentials of Health Behavior which was recently published by Jones and Bartlett Publishers and is available in Himmelfarb Library (Stacks and Reserves RA418 .E326 2007). Dr. Edberg, Associate Professor of Prevention and Community Health, provides background on the social and behavioral theories which underpin health promotion and health behavior interventions.
