Third Floor Renovations

As the curriculum continues to move toward group projects and collaborative activities, the Library has rearranged portions of the Bloedorn Audiovisual Study Center (BAVSC) to better support these activities. In mid-December, in conjunction with the move of the Classroom Services department to the first floor, a new student lounge was created in one corner of the BAVSC. This space will provide a new, convenient place to socialize, study, and eat on this floor of the Library.

The BAVSC help desk was also moved to a more central location in order to provide better service to our patrons throughout the computer lab.

Finally, several computers were relocated within the BAVSC in order to provide study space that is more conducive to groups of people studying together. We hope these changes will result in a collaborative study space that better meets the needs of our patrons, both in terms of space and service.
