Journal News
Wiley Publishing: Himmelfarb has signed an agreement with this publisher that will expand both content and access to our holdings of their electronic journals. With the new Enhanced Access License, all of Himmelfarb’s Wiley subscriptions will be accessible back to 1997. Previously, we could only access years we had paid for and had coverage gaps, most notably 2004. In addition, Wiley journals will now be accessible through the VPN and through Aladin sometime in the fall.
eClinics: The Full Clinics Series Package was purchased in June. All of the 53 titles can be browsed by issue or searched either through MDConsult or Ovid Medline. The Clinics series provides information on the newest advances as well as a sound basis for choosing treatment options. Many of the titles focus on a single topic each issue.
Methods in Enzymology and International Congress Series: Both of these series are now being purchased in electronic format. Methods is available electronically back to 2000 and the ICS is available electronically back to 2001.
Annual Reviews: Himmelfarb and Gelman Libraries are in the process of jointly purchasing electronic backfiles for all of Annual Review’s titles. Annual Review’s publications are among the most highly cited in scientific literature with 32 focused disciplines within the Biomedical, Physical, and Social Sciences.
