Himmelfarb Library Welcomes New Staff

I've been a librarian for over 25 years and have worked in academic, corporate and school libraries. If any one had told me early in my career that I would like working with serials, I would have thought they were crazy, but after spending a large amount of my time managing 1200 titles during my five years at Thomson Consumer Electronics in Indianapolis, I became enamored with them. The advent of electronic access has made serials a much more dynamic source of information and presents daily challenges.

My husband, daughter and I moved to Reston last September when my husband accepted a position at AOL. I also have two sons at college in Chicago and Toronto. I like to garden, read, and travel.
