The additional ALADIN login is a short-term situation and Himmelfarb Library staff is working to restore normal access conditions.</p> <p>To securely login to ALADIN, enter your last name and GWid (G#) and use the drop-down menu to select George Washington. However, you can still get rapid access to the information that you need. You can simply select the database, e-text, or e-journal which you would like to use by clicking on its link on the Himmelfarb homepage, and, when prompted, login using your last name and GWid (G#).</p> <p>Here's an example of how this works if you want to access <a href="http://www.gwumc.edu/library/eresources/edatabase.cfm/go/MDConsult">MDConsult</a>: <ol><li>Access <a href=http://www.gwumc.edu/library>Himmelfarb Library webpage</a>. <li>In the 'Quick Links' area of the webpage, locate the link for <a href="http://www.gwumc.edu/library/eresources/edatabase.cfm/go/MDConsult">MDConsult</a> and click on it. <li>If you're at an off-campus location, an ALADIN login screen will appear. Simply enter your last name and GWid (G#) and choose 'George Washington' from the drop-down menu, then click on 'Go'. <li>MDConsult will display on the screen and you will have full access.</ol></p> <p>This method of off-campus access also works for other databases which are listed on the <a href="http://www.gwumc.edu/library/eresources/edatabase.cfm">MDConsult</a>E-Databases webpage</a>, and electronic textbooks which are found on the <a href=http://www.gwumc.edu/library/eresources/etextbook.cfm>E-Texts webpage</a>.
