The MKSAP 15 : Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program and the MKSAP 15 Audio Companion are now available from Himmelfarb Library.
The MKSAP 15 : Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program is a collection of 11 books which provide text, multiple-choice questions, and figures, charts, and tables to support your learning. The books are designed to help you close gaps between the actual care in your practice and preferred standards of care, diagnose less-common diseases, improve management of co-morbidities, and determine when to refer patients to surgeons or sub-specialists. Each book focuses on a knowledge area: cardiovascular medicine, dermatology, endocrinology and metabolism, gastroenterology and hepatology, general internal medicine, hematology, infectious diseases, nephrology, neurology, oncology, pulmonary and critical care medicine, or rheumatology.
The MKSAP 15 Audio Companion Each is a collection of twenty two CDs which allow you to review highlights of the MKSAP 15. The CDs allow you to focus on the content areas that are important to you. Each CD extracts and expands on significant information from MKSAP 15 while focusing on cardiovascular medicine, dermatology, endocrinology and metabolism, gastroenterology and hepatology, general internal medicine, hematology, infectious diseases, nephrology, neurology, oncology, pulmonary and critical care medicine, or rheumatology.
The MKSAP 15 : Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program is available in the library's Reserve Collection, located at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of the library. The books are available for borrowing for a one week period. The MKSAP 15 Audio Companion is available in the library's Audiovisual Collection, located in the Bloedorn Technology Center on the 3rd floor of the library. The CDs are available for borrowing for a three week period.
