Tool of the Week: Science Translational Medicine
Science Translational Medicine (Sci TM) is a new interdisciplinary journal from the publishers of Science, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The mission of Sci TM is "To promote human health by providing a forum for communication and cross-fertilization among basic, translational, and clinical research practitioners and trainees from all relevant established and emerging disciplines."
In addition to the journal article content, users have access to Multimedia resources including podcasts and videos. Translational Medicine Community Resources provide access to events, careers and other translational medicine items of interest.
Users can personalize their Sci TM experience through the "My Sci TM" tab (with free registration). You can set up folders to keep articles and other Sci TM content easily accessible. RSS feeds and Email alerts can be set up for tables of contents and citation, keyword or author searches. These searches can also be saved for easy searching when you visit the Sci TM page.
GWUMC users have access to Sci TM back to the first issue of October 7, 2009 through the current issue. Access Sci TM directly through their website or the Himmelfarb E-Journals page.
