Healthy DC - Go Local

Healthy DC - Go Local, a database containing links to local healthcare resources and services, will no longer be hosted and supported by the National Library of Medicine (NLM). Research conducted by NLM determined that other sources, such as search engines, do a better job of providing access to health services information, with lower maintenance and labor costs. Healthy DC - Go Local was created by librarians at Himmelfarb Library and Georgetown's Dahlgren Library and funded by NLM. It was also linked to the consumer health site, MedlinePlus.
