The exhibit, Changing the Face of Medicine: Celebrating America's Women Physicians, introduces some of the many extraordinary and fascinating women who have studied and practiced medicine in America. Women of all generations and diverse backgrounds are featured in this exhibition celebrating all of America's physicians.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 1st, from 4:00-5:30 pm, in the Himmelfarb Library on the first floor. Refreshments will be served.

The exhibit will remain on display in the Library from September 28th through November 8th. Please contact Cynthia Kahn at 202-994-3683 or mlbcrk@gwumc.edu with any questions about the exhibit or opening reception.

I really enjoyed this exhibition. It was truly inspirational to learn about the the brilliance of these phenomenal women in their respective fields despite their struggles. I especially liked the opening reception of the exhibit with Dr. Frank's remarks and the interactive computer program that had more resources and interesting findings to play around with. Thank you for putting this together!
