Annual Book Sale
Just after the fall semester gets underway, the Himmelfarb Annual Book Sale will be held in the Reference nook on the first floor of the Library. The exact dates of the sale will be announced shortly.
This book sale presents a great opportunity to supplement your collection with reference materials and textbooks that have been withdrawn from the collection. Prices range from $.50 to several dollars on the first day of the sale, and on the second day, all materials are free. Hours for the book sale are 8:00 - Midnight.

Will folks outside of the med school be allowed into the building for this book sale? I'm pretty upset that they are continuing to restrict access to a university resource to certain students.

Individuals from outside the medical center are welcome to attend the booksale and should contact George Paul (202-994-3682), who will be happy to arrange library access for them. Although the library is not open as a general study area, we are pleased to arrange for temporary access to do focused research with Himmelfarb Library's resources. Please contact Kathy Lyons at 202-994-1829 for such requests.
